A video of a girl from Indore has gone viral on social media in which she was dancing at a traffic signal after the lights turned red. The dance video was recorded at Rasoma Square, which is one of the busiest roads in Indore. People stopped to look at the youngster dancing in the middle of the road and mistook it for a campaign that was started by the Indore Police for people who could volunteer to control and guide the traffic for an hour on their relatives’ birthday. However, when the video went viral on social media, everyone labelled it as a publicity stunt.
In the 30-second clip, the girl Shreya Kalra, who is a model, was seen grooving to Let Me Be Your Woman by Doja Cat. She suddenly started dancing on the zebra crossing when the lights turned red. A person who had accompanied her captured the video of her dancing to the peppy song. Shreya danced at the signal until the lights went green again and also appealed to people to wear a mask through her video.

The video didn’t go down well with the authorities who served her a notice for traffic violation. The traffic department appealed to the youth to be safe and sound, while the DSP also asked youngsters to do only those activities for entertainment that prevent harming others or themselves.
After the incident, Shreya Kalra took to her social media handle and clarified her motive behind making the video. She completely denied breaking the traffic rules and said that she only wanted to spread awareness about wearing masks and stopping at a red light.
“I don’t want to influence anybody else to do the same thing. The video was taken in the wrong way,” added Kalra.
