This is the second time these winter sporting events are being held in the Kashmir valley. The first edition of 'Khelo India Winter Games' was held in J&K last year where athletes competed in these sporting events.
While the J&K administration is making efforts to ensure the success of these games, those associated with the UT's tourism industry believe the event will help boost tourism in Jammu and Kashmir.
